Dear Friends,
In October 2021, we lost our daughter, Marayah, after her courageous battle with childhood cancer. While her time with us was far too short, her compassion, strength and love for others continues to inspire everything we do.
To honor her legacy, we created the Marayah Cares Foundation. Our mission is simple yet meaningful: Support families facing the challenges of childhood cancer, empower youth through educational scholarships and protect and improve the lives of animals in our community.
What began as a way to honor Marayah’s memory has grown into a mission of hope, compassion and service. Through the generosity of supporters like you, we have been able to assist families during some of their most difficult moments, award scholarships to deserving students and support animal welfare efforts throughout our community.
Today, we ask for your help in continuing that mission.

Sebastian
1 year old Sebastian of Stockton, CA who is battling Stage 4 cancer. His parents were devastated to find out recently that Sebastian has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Hepatoblastoma
Brandon’s Family
This is Brandon, a three year old little boy currently undergoing treatment for leukemia in Sacramento. His parents are young and are also caring for their one year old child.
The Quintana family
Liam is a sweet 2-year-old little boy who was diagnosed with ATRT (Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor), an aggressive form of childhood cancer.
Amara’s Family
Amara had a 4cm tumor in her cerebellum, blocking the flow of fluid in her brain. That moment marked the beginning of her journey: emergency brain surgery and resection of the tumor.
