The MCF Scholarship
Marayah was a gifted student-athlete with a 4.26 GPA and dreams of attending college one day. She believed that education and sports go hand-in-hand.
To encourage our youth to stay focused on education while building strong, lasting relationships through sports, the Marayah Cares Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors to help in their educational pursuits.
Seniors compete for scholarship awards by submitting essays that reflect Marayah’s passion not only for education, but also the importance of having compassion for others. The winners, through their essays, demonstrate how they hope to continue Marayah’s legacy through service to others.
We would like to honor Marayah by awarding students that have shown that same dedication to academics and/or sports.

Congratulations to the 11 bright, driven, and inspiring students awarded the 2025 Marayah Cares Foundation Scholarship!
This marks our third year recognizing young adults who embody the same academic and athletic excellence for which Marayah was known. While our mission is to continue to support families facing childhood cancer and advocate for neglected animals, we’re equally honored to invest in the future of exceptional young leaders.
Keep dreaming big…Marayah’s light shines through each of you.”
